I'm delighted to announce that after four months of downtime, the online booking system on my website is working again!
My Microsoft account had a problem with Godaddy and my online calendar got stuck in the middle of it all!
Without boring you with all the details, I'm very proud to have found a solution to my problem. It didn't just take me a few minutes like I thought it would, but in the end, I think I spent about 20 hours trying to solve it. Sure, the solution may be a bit "messy", but that doesn't show on the front end. I'm not a computer technician, I am after all a bilingual virtual assistant. I think I'll get back to it in the New Year, when I have more time (a wish list is being drawn up here!).
I'm sure many of you can relate to this situation (I hope I'm not the only one!): as independent contractors, we are :
- the CEO
- assistance service
- the strategist
- and the one who has to find the solution.
But that's also our advantage: we learn, we adapt, we persevere.
So here's to the breakthroughs waiting on the other side of perseverance, and to all my fellow independent contractors who are struggling to find a solution to a problem. You can do it!
Don't assume that the most expensive solution is the right one.
Curiosity costs less and is far more effective.
🚀 Continue. The answer may already be in your mailbox.
PS: the solution to my problem was not simply to pay for an unnecessary upgrade, nor to delete my e-mail address as they wished!
All I had to do was approach the problem from a different angle.
My name is Sarah Rose and, as a bilingual virtual assistant, I help entrepreneurs and business owners by offering them a complete range of administrative solutions and virtual services designed to optimize their operations and increase their productivity.
